Denim Shirt Embellishment--Pattern Variation #2



 
I used this triangle-shaped motif for the collar of my denim shirt project.

  1. Very nice! I notice no decorative picots. Easier to stitch on fabric!

    1. The thread was the impetus for the project. This was when the variegated Manuela was just new. Up until then the variegated threads changed colors very slowly compared to how many changes were in just one element (ring or chain) & how abruptly the colors changed without bleeding/blending of the old vs new color.

    2. My 'no picot' style was sort of 'born' with this project. I chose not to use picots because my thoughts were that the garment would go in and out of the laundry with no additional fuss over the tatting (the picots).
